Water Well Testing
Waterline Resources provides water well testing services for projects where companies or individual landowners are concerned that industrial activities could potentially impact shallow water supply aquifers and wells. Aggregate pits, oil and gas well drilling, coalbed methane (CBM), hydro-fracturing, seismic surveys, pipeline construction, mining, fish farms, and other activities have caused some concern to landowners who depend on shallow groundwater resources for drinking, livestock watering, and irrigation. For due diligence and public relations purposes, companies develop land agreements that include pre and post-development water well testing. A typical water test involves:
- Measuring the non-pumping water level of the well;
- An aquifer test to assess the groundwater quantity;
- Collecting groundwater samples to assess the groundwater quality;
- Condition of the water well;
- Site conditions; and
- The water well construction.
